Mounting and installation
Freestanding or attached, anchoring and installation requirements can change what is realistically suitable.
Weather documentation

What we don't know matters, too.
Incomplete catalog data is a reality, not a reason to invent an answer. Our rules make the distinction between a documented fact, an unresolved conflict and a missing specification explicit.
Unknown stays unknown
Missing dimensions, load ratings and prices are never turned into zeros or estimated specifications.
Conflicts stay visible
If credible sources disagree, we flag the field for review rather than choosing whichever claim makes the product look better.
Hard checks need proof
Once you supply a required exact footprint, a product with no verified fit does not silently pass that requirement.
A nominal size label does not confirm the exact outside footprint or post spacing. If those dimensions aren't documented, we show that uncertainty instead of calling the pergola a verified fit for a measured patio.
