What pergola kit listings actually document

We analyzed the source-linked, intentionally indexable variants in our current pergola catalog to measure price evidence, roof operation, published wind and snow documentation, warranty coverage and the fields that are still missing. The benchmark is calculated from the live research dataset rather than typed into this page.

Benchmark snapshot

Scope: 16 source-linked, intentionally indexable variants across 4 brands and 10 model families. This is a curated research dataset, not a census of every pergola kit sold in the US.

16

Source-linked variants included in the benchmark.

16 / 16

100% have a recorded published wind figure and the conditions attached to it.

9 / 16

56% have a recorded published snow-load figure and stated conditions.

Manual vs. motorized coverage

The dataset records roof operation for 9 of 16 variants. We do not infer operation when the source record is unresolved.

8

Manual-operation variants (50% of the benchmark).

1

Motorized variants (6%).

7

Variants without a normalized manual/motorized classification.

Verified exact-variant price observations

Only products with an exact-variant price, a recorded observation date and a price-source URL are included in this distribution. Starting prices and unresolved prices are excluded rather than treated as exact.

16

Variants with a verified exact-price observation (100% of the benchmark).

$2,099

Median observed exact-variant kit price in the current dataset.

$399–$3,360

Observed range among qualifying exact-price records, not a market-wide price range.

The biggest evidence gaps

Missing documentation is itself useful buying information. These counts show where the current source-linked dataset does not yet meet the benchmark's evidence rule.

How to read this benchmark

Each count is generated from the same normalized catalog used by MyPergolaMatch's product pages. A wind or snow figure counts only when the numeric claim, its conditions and a source URL are recorded. A price counts only when it is an exact-variant observation with a source and observation date. Unknown values stay unknown.

This does not mean MyPergolaMatch independently tested 16 structures. It measures the evidence we can trace in manufacturer or authorized-retailer material. Multiple sizes from one product family can share documentation, so variant counts should not be read as independent engineering tests.

Latest saved technical verification date among included records: 2026-09-09. The page recalculates when the reviewed catalog changes.

Turn the benchmark into a buying decision

The benchmark measures documentation quality and coverage. If you are choosing a product, use our buying guide to compare exact-size candidates by fit, roof operation, weather evidence, installation, warranty and current price state.
